Taste the Future
Part inspiration.
Part exploration.
All Solein.
Solein is an ingredient that keeps surprising us. Every day we find a new use for it, a new question it answers. This is where we share where food is going.
Pick a food. Any food.
Solein adapts to conventional proteins in virtually any food product, with no compromise in taste. It’s an ingredient that changes what a product can be, without changing what it tastes like. Its applications are only limited by imagination.
“What strikes me the most about Solein is its taste – or rather, the lack of it. The yellow powder has very little flavor or aroma, unlike many common protein powders that impart a chalky and bitter profile to whatever they’re mixed into.”

The Solein® Kitchen
A window into what Solein can become.
The Solein Kitchen is where we experiment, explore possibilities, and put the ingredient into the hands of food developers, chefs, and culinary thinkers. It’s where we get to show, not tell, what it’s capable of. No recipe is off limits. Nothing is too ambitious.
What people are saying.
Food developers, chefs, industry professionals, and tasters from different backgrounds and different applications. The same reaction: something that doesn’t behave the way they expected.
The bigger picture
Food is always evolving. Solein is its next chapter.
Every generation has had a food shift: fire, discovery of new continents, agriculture, industrialization. What is happening now is quieter but more consequential. The inputs that have always constrained food production are becoming optional. Land. Water. Season. Climate.
Solein is an early signal of what that world looks like: a protein grown from air, produced anywhere, in any season. We are only beginning to understand the possibilities.
The potential is vast. Protein for communities that conventional agriculture has never been able to serve. Everyday foods, made more nutritious and sustainable without asking anyone to change what they eat. A supply chain that doesn’t depend on finite resources.
And further still: Solein’s process works anywhere, in deserts, the Arctic or even Mars. An organism that has lived on this planet for billions of years may eventually help us live beyond it.
